During surgery

We aim to improve the quality of life of your pet, whilst minimising their discomfort and speeding up the recovery process. As such, we recommend a number of essential services such as a blood test to reduce the risks of the anaesthetic. Throughout the surgery, we also utilise state-of-the-art monitoring equipment to ensure your pet is safe and comfortable. Lastly, we always recommend pain relief for your pet during and after the procedure.

In addition to this, our team will provide you with important information and advice during their recovery period.

All hospitalised patients are monitored continuously and receive ongoing supportive treatment throughout their stay. There are qualified vets and nurses on duty to ensure they receive the very best care throughout the day and night.

Our practice offers intravenous fluid pumps, oxygen therapy and comfortable recovery areas with warming units, so that your pet feels safe and calm. Depending on the type of surgery, our specialists will contact you with a discharge estimate and ensure you receive post-operative instructions.
